It is none of my business when I see or hear two people in a relationship, but it is damn beautiful and all my business when I see LOVE in great friendships. It is so beautiful. You ask yourself “when will this whole experience will happen to me”. I write on one of such friendship today.

If you live in the most obscure corners of the earth and you have not heard of the name OPRAH WINFREY, I recommend NAPOLEON BONAPARTE TO PRAY FOR YOU. She is the most prolific, influential, sophisticated and beautiful TV PERSONALITY EVER. I mean she knows when and how to touch hearts and make the strongest cry. Simply put, SHE IS A CLASSY LADY BEAUTIFUL INSIDE OUT.

Gayle King is her name, and if you have not heard of this name well as a referee, I will show you the YELLOW CARD. You are cautioned. Gayle is also an American TV personality, a writer and a broadcast journalist. She is a DIVA in her own right who has chalked so many successes. One unique thing I personally like about Gayle is her SMILE. It is infectious.

Rumor has it these two have been friends for a long time and this is where I point. Let us go back to the time these two were the “NOBODY’S” I mean before their fame and stardom. I imagine what life would have been like for these two women. I can picture OPRAH sad and down telling Gayle how bad things were from time to time. Gayle on the other hand might have a candy in her mouth listening carefully to what her friend is saying. After listening to OPRAH for several minutes, perhaps hours, her initial response is “here have a candy too, SWING with me.” I told you not to trust those guys, now see where WE are. What do WE do now?”

Gosh! I envy Oprah. A mountain of fear, crashed into NOTHING with just one statement. To have someone support you like that crazy, is a life time achievement.

Gayle on the other hand, when Oprah had elevated into stardom, will perhaps tell her friend she seems to have lost focus on their friendship due to timeless work schedules. I can imagine Oprah closing her show and having a ‘WE’ time with her friend. From one step of communication to the other, these two, slowly built their friendship on TRUST.

What I can’t imagine though is these two women arguing or fighting. That will be very HILARIOUS to narrate now and very HEARTBREAKING to watch then. No matter the pain, the fear, the tasks and the false accusations, THESE TWO WERE THERE FOR EACH OTHER.

This is how it should be. Their friendship was NOT a competition, it was LOVE. All tools used TO PERFECTION. I mean the hugs, kisses, cuddling, sacrifices made, patience, hope, faith, Grace and money. With envy, strife, petty jealousies, anger and pain CAREFULLY worked on and cancelled. Inasmuch as we have to be unique with our own individuality and style, there is NOTHING WRONG WITH A GOOD COPY.

Let us copy these two. We have NOTHING TO LOSE. What a way to change the world. There is ENOUGH SPACE FOR EVERYONE UP THERE SO WHY THE HELL ARE WE FIGHTING, BACKSTABBING AND DISCOURAGING ONE ANOTHER?

In a conversation with an acquaintance:

Acquaintance: “I am looking for a kind of friendship that is SOUND, THAT IS LOVE, THAT IS NOT PERFECT. I hope you get what I mean……

ME:  AHHHH!!!  YOU MEAN LIKE OPRAH AND GAYLE?
